Our Story
The heart of Flambè Karma begins with Chef Niaz Sathar. His culinary journey started in the kitchens of India, where he spent years watching and learning from his mother — the first and most influential teacher in his life. Many of our recipes today are inspired by her traditions, her techniques, and the deep love she poured into every dish.
Guided by that foundation, Niaz went on to complete formal training in culinary arts, solidifying his skills and deepening his understanding of global cooking traditions. As he continued to grow as a chef, he spent time working in a French restaurant, where he was taught the art of flambé. This elegant, dramatic technique opened an entirely new world of flavor and presentation. It was there that he made a promise to himself: one day, when he opened his own restaurant, he would incorporate the flambé technique into his Indian dishes in a way no one had seen before. That dream ultimately shaped the identity of Flambè Karma.
Standing beside him is Patrycja, his wife and the Creative Director of their restaurants. Her background, artistic eye, and love for elegant European dining have influenced everything from the ambiance to the visual identity of our spaces. Together, they create an experience where culinary passion meets thoughtful, beautiful design.
